Tom Pageler serves as the President and COO at Prime Trust. Prime Trust provides tech-driven financial infrastructure to FinTech innovators by being the rails for many banks, financial institutions, exchanges and FinTech firms.

Tom has over 20 years of experience in operations, security, and risk management. Prior to joining Prime Trust, Tom served in numerous executive roles: COO of BitGo; CSO and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Neustar; CRO and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at DocuSign; Deputy CISO for JPMorgan Chase; and Head of Risk Assessments and Director of Emerging Risk and Fraud Control for Visa. While at Visa, Tom helped to launch the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) and remained on The PCI SSC Board of Advisors during his time at JPMorgan Chase.

Tom began his career in government services where he served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service. He was one of the founding members of the San Francisco Electronic Crimes Task Force and was responsible for identifying, apprehending, and successfully extraditing leaders of a large organized crime ring in the Eastern Bloc. Tom also provided physical security for the President of the United States, the Vice President, their families, and foreign heads of state.

Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona’s Eller School of Business, a Master of Business Administration from The Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Tom is also an instructor and serves as a Member of the Advisory Board for Carnegie Mellon's CRO and CISO-Executive Education and Certification Programs.
