Alberta Securities Commission Senior Legal Counsel, Market Regulation Division
As senior legal counsel in the ASC’s Market Regulation Division, Katrina is responsible for matters relating to market infrastructure entities and marketplace participants as well as many different policy projects affecting registrants. Katrina also works closely with staff in New Economy and Corporate Finance Divisions at the ASC on the CSA Regulatory Sandbox to support fintech businesses seeking to offer innovative products in situations where securities law intersects with emerging financial technologies.
