Bernd Petak is a Canadian technology investor and corporate director. He is a former software engineer, ex-strategy & operations consulting partner with Deloitte, and multi-time company founder, CEO, COO and CFO. Bernd is investment partner and co-founder at Northmark Ventures, a high value-added venture capital firm investing throughout the Americas and focused specifically on advanced financial technology and Software as a Service businesses.

Bernd is an active advisor, mentor and board director. In Canada, Bernd acts as board chair for Beanworks Solutions as well as sitting as a corporate director for Screenscape Networks and Proskida. He is also board observer for Redwood Markets of Houston, Texas. Bernd is based in Vancouver, Canada.
